Of all the things horrible and nasty that could happen to me, it all seemed to fall down at once today. Mother is absolutely seething. She's keeping me from the city of Stormwind for a few weeks, she says. I was apparently too distracted from my duties when I was there. But I know its because of the ring. I can't believe I lost it!
Why does this always happen to me? I had the absolute intention of delivering the food out to the Guards. It wasn't my fault that things happened as they did! Then there is the ring. I might as well have left my finger with it as well because I've never taken it off before. Ever. I'm so stupid. At least I know who has it.
Mister Niklos.
Writing it down to remember. Will have to get it back.

Entry 10
I scrambled to find something for today to remember Father and Quint. All the silly nonsense of this Hallow's End holiday at last came to an end, and now we come to the real rememberence of it all--the Day of the Dead. Not many know so much of the holiday, obssessed enough with their tiny pieces of candy to really give it any thought. I think that Mother considers them to be dead, really. Gilneas has been closed for so long, with no sign of life, after all. But Mother considers alot of things dead. I can't help but to have a little hope that I might be able to see my brother again. He was always a survivor.
I remember when I was a little girl, he would always let me ride with him on our horses. Some of them were still unbroken, and it was frightening when they would rear up, but he would get them under control. He'd always say "anything can be yours with a steady hand". Mother and Father never gave him enough credit, really. He wasn't always the troublemaker they made him out to be.
White roses are for rememberence, I think. I'll have to get some.

Entry 9
I got a Flimsy little orc mask...I'm not sure if it's female or male! Its a dreadful thing really, but my first in a while. I might keep it for the next unfortunate innkeeper that decides to offer a trick instead of a treat.
Entry 8
I've had a pounding headache for days now...the damnable Headless Horseman is back for the year, prattling his nonsense across the villages. What is he so angry about? I'm beginning to think he didn't get enough attention as a living man, so he's decided to torment people randomly each year with his odious rhyming. And candy is horrible for people. It's all nonsense!
I swear if I get turned into a wisp again, I am stomping someone's face into the ground.

Entry 6
I've been in Icecrown for weeks, collecting samples of residue to keep in the archived records. I'm being told that one day, perhaps Icecrown might be rehibilitated again, when the dead are purged from the area. It would take arcane warding and heavy druidic magic to have the land return to its former roots, but...I think it can be done! They revived Dalaran from its ruins in Hillsbrad, after all. The base of the problem still must be rid of out there. It'll take a little more than arcane spells and druidic magic to rid the land of the Lich King, I wager.
I want to return to Coldarra, and finish up tagging some of the ley lines out there--the place is littered in magic! But I feel I will be posted here for a while, with everyone else. At least there is the Tournament.
Haha. I look completely ridiculous with a lance. For chivalry!

Entry 5
Again, there is talk of this...woman. She bears the same surname as me. It does not surprise me really: Handhour is not too uncommon a name. Apparently she was a warlock. A fallen warlock at that, now Forsaken. I was right never to take up that path--some things should not be pried open. Dalaran fell to those sort of magics before. Why are so many still allowed demons so freely? To study freely? Its insanity. I suppose it isn't a crime until you are fornicating with the undead. Hah. My mother's humor. I won't bother with some nameless warlock--I've more important things to do.
Entry 4
I discovered my hearthstone can be tuned into "channels" today, broadcasting voices from others so each holder can listen and speak at will. Too bad no one had anything worthwhile to say---they were all drunk.
Quint would have liked to have one.

Entry 3
Who is the idiot that thought up Brewfest? Do they really need a designated day to drink themselves sick? It's mind-numbing...
I hate ale. Father is an idiot.

Entry 2
I really do like the Purple Parlor. It's a nice, quiet place to sit and write. I don't remember such a place when I was little, though. A new addition, certainly, since having been rebuilt. The smell of the pies and cakes in the merchant quarter makes me remember so much, however. The more things change, the more they stay the same! Mother spends more and more time around the Citadel. She really is too old to be creeping into the Hold, but she does. It was embarrassing when the guard called me to take my own mother away from the gates. She wants to help, I know, but she can't anymore. She is better off talking with the Elders these days, let me do the warden work. I swear, she makes me feel incompetent at times. I am nearly twenty years old! I am no child. Ah, mothers will be mothers though.
I'd better get back to my vigil.
I'd better get back to my vigil.
Entry 1
At last! I have been admitted into the service of the Kirin Tor! Mother would be so proud of me, I know it. All the work has paid off, and now the true work begins. Perhaps I'll finally be able to scout out new ley lines with Professor Wilkinson? Studying is imperative, I'll certainly have to prove my worth. There is no time for daydreaming anymore, I know. It upsets Mother when I talk about wanting to return home. She calls me foolish. Maybe I am. Or maybe I just would like to see Quint again. But every time I mention him, or Father, she just looks at me like I've lost my mind. I really shouldn't upset her so much. But really--he is my brother. Should I not care and pretend that he doesn't exist?
Mother wont speak of him, either way. Maybe its for the best. Gilneas is lost to us. At least we have Dalaran again.
